There will be no TGS program meeting in May because the fourth Sunday falls on Memorial Day weekend.

Author Donna Meredith, editor of the Southern Literary Review, will share how she researched and used family history resources in her book Margaret, The Rose of Goodwood. Time: Social time is at 1:30 and the program begins at 2. Location: The Fireside Room in the Parry Center at Westminster Oaks. (The Parry Center may also be accessed through the Maguire Center if you would like to park in the parking garage or near the Pool House.)

Tulie Taylor, former TGS Board member, will talk to us about the process of offering family papers, photographs, and artifacts to archives and museums. Time: Social time is at 1:30 and the program begins at 2. Location: The Fireside Room in the Parry Center at Westminster Oaks. (The Parry Center may also be accessed through the Maguire Center if you would like to park in the parking garage or near the Pool House.)

Our last meeting of the year is a short business meeting with officer elections followed by a party. This is a great time to socialize and talk about your family history research with other TGS members. Time: Social time is at 1:30 and the program begins at 2.
