• TGS March Meeting: The US Census from 1850 through 1950 with Dick Sherwin

  • TGS April Meeting: The US Census from 1790 to 1840 with Matthew Storey, Florida State Archives

    Matthew Storey, Archives Historian at the State Archives of Florida, will talk to us about the US census from 1790, the first year the federal census was taken, through 1850.     Author Donna Meredith, editor of the Southern Literary Review, will share how she researched and used family history resources in her book Margaret, The Rose of Goodwood.     This will be a panel discussion with Kathryn Cowdery, Karen Sheffield, and Linda Mabry. Mary Anne Price will moderate.
