TGS Board member Mary Anne Price will present an overview of family history resources that are available here in Tallahassee. Time: Social time is at 1:30 pm and the meeting will start at 2 pm. Matthew Storey, Archives Historian at the State Archives of Florida, will talk to us about the US census from 1790, the first year the federal census was taken, through 1850. There will be no TGS program meeting in May because the fourth Sunday falls on Memorial Day weekend.

Author Donna Meredith, editor of the Southern Literary Review, will share how she researched and used family history resources in her book Margaret, The Rose of Goodwood.
