The Tallahassee Genealogical Society, Inc. is organized for the purposes of literary and educational work in the field of genealogy and related fields; to preserve and perpetuate the records of our ancestors; to encourage the study of family histories and genealogies; and to pool our knowledge and interests to aid individual members of the society and of the public in the compilation of their genealogies.
